Take the pain out of Nationwide signage
Case Study
September 2007
Waste Aware Scotland asked Campaign HQ to design, co-ordinate and deliver thousands of posters, signs and A Frames to Local Authorities. The signage would be used in Recycling Centres around the Country, and every Local Authority and every location had different requirements. The project was carried out to comply with the new EC Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE).
The Client
The Scottish Government, through Natural Scotland commissioned the project. Every Local Authority in the land was involved, and by designing and developing the WEEE materials and sourcing them centrally, enormous savings could be delivered to the Local Authorities.
The Background
The WEEE Directive means that provision has to be made for the recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment by all member Countries.
The Solution
Campaign HQ delivered thousands of items to over a hundred locations, each delivery containing specific numbers and types of materials. Each poster contained different branding for different Local Authorities and the Waste Awareness Group associated with the region.
The Result
Waste Aware Scotland was able to deliver the signage required smoothly and efficiently through Campaign HQ, as well as making significant savings; a logistical achievement.
